Konga is a co-operative of 2000 farmers in the Yigra Cheffe region of Ethiopia. This lot is a washed offering, comprised of Ethiopia Heirloom varieties. An extremely balanced and solid coffee, with nuance of berry sweetness and milk chocolate.

Smallholder coffee producers organized around the Konga washing station
REGION:
Yirgacheffe Woreda, Gedeo Zone, Ethiopia
ALTITUDE:
1,850 – 2,050 meters
PROCESS:
Fully washed, double overnight fermentation, rinsed in tile channels, and dried on raised beds. This coffee was prepared to a Grade 1 standard at the dry mill before export.
